Sumedha and Rohit (Su- Ro)

Hi!

We are Sumedha and Rohit, a Bengali girl and a Punjabi guy from India. Together we make up “ The Benjabi Affair”.

We met in 2013 during our MBA days and instantly connected over our love for travel and most importantly tea.

We believe when you travel, there’s no better way to connect with people, than through food accompanied by their local brew,generally Chai!

In 2014 we took our first trip together and absolutey loved it.

We soon realized we wanted to go on another trip and started saving and planning for trip number two – thinking that would cure the ‘bug’.

But the bug didn’t go away,on the contrary it kept growing and intensifying. That’s when we decided to take atleast 4 trips a year since we had to keep up with our corporate jobs.

That brings us to where we are now:

7 years down the line, married and saved quite some money, we have decided to become consistent in our travelling expeditions and have decided to blog our journeys.

We also have an Instagram page and a youtube channel, both named “The Benjabi Affair”

We strive to provide authentic information on travel, local food, hidden gems  and the best cafes around for tea, through blogs and videos, and to also connect with people through the food we eat.
